Environmental Engineering - Undergraduate Academic Studies
Environmental engineering is a course of study on the University of Novi Sad, that is organized jointly by the Faculty of Technical Studies in Novi Sad and the Technical Faculty “Mihajlo Pupin” in Zrenjanin. This program was developed in response to the needs of industry, economy and institutions that deal with environmental problems and who need engineers with interdisciplinary expertise in this area.
Requirements for admission to the program are completed high school and passed entrance exam. The entrance exam consists of mathematics and aptitude test.
At the undergraduate level, which lasts four years (240 ECTS), there is one Study Group - Environmental Engineering. By entering the fourth year students have the opportunity to, according to their own preferences and desires, in addition to obligatory courses, opt for elective courses. The differences in the contents of elective courses allow students to obtain detailed knowledge in the five sub-areas: Waste and material flow analysis, Management of accidental environmental risks, ECO management, Bio-systems engineering and Water management. Besides theoretical knowledge, students will also gain the practical knowledge by working in the modern laboratory.
