Information Technologies in E- government and Business Systems - Master Academic Studies
The aims of the study program are: adoption of advanced knowledge from the field of Information and Communication Technologies in E-government and business systems, enabling students for problem solution by applying the achieved knowledge, enabling them for team work, preparing students for the work on multidisciplinary projects.
The purpose of this study program is to make possible exercising the right to quality education of professionals in the field of Information and Communication Technologies to a wider community and for the needs of state government and big business systems as important factor of further development of the country.
Upon finishing Master studies students achieve independence in research work and in solving complex problems in the field of IT, especially in E-government and in business systems which involves analytical way of thinking, fundamental knowledge from IT, e-business, project and system management and ability for solving different problems in the relevant field. Also, they get huge interdisciplinary knowledge about various fields in which IT are applied and, in that way, the range of jobs that graduated students can perform is considerably increased: design and maintenance of Information systems and communication services in state and local administration, IT projects management, consulting related to implementing Information Technologies into business processes in business systems in state government, design, maintenance and development of Internet applications, design of the systems for Information support to business systems of low and middle complexity level, making, implementation and maintenance of the systems for Information support to business processes.
Information Technologies – Engineering - Master Academic Studies
The purpose of the study program Information technologies – Master is education of graduated engineer of Information Technologies who possesses modern, high technological knowledge necessary for Information industry and business systems in which realization of research and developing project means solving practical problems aided by advanced Information technologies.
The aims of this study program are: adoption of advanced knowledge from the field of IT, enabling students for solving problems by applying the achieved skills, enabling students for team work, enabling them to work on multidisciplinary projects.
Competences of graduated students of Information Technologies are appropriate for continuation of scientific and research work at PhD studies, but first of all, these competences give them possibilities of employment both in public and private sector as well as in education, in the field of Information Technologies. Also, the students achieve huge interdisciplinary knowledge related to implementation of IT in various fields which increases the range of jobs that graduated students can perform: consulting related to implementing IT into business processes, design Information systems support to business processes of low and middle complexity level, making, implementing and maintenance of IT system support to business processes.
Upon finishing Master studies students are competent for development and design of complex systems and their parts, for project management and work on projects, for work in multidisciplinary teams and they achieve independence in education and improvement.
Information Technologies – Engineering – Professor - Master Academic Studies
A student who acquired at least 300 ESPB during the study process is entitled Master in Information Technologies. The Final work (М Sc.) is to be done under tutorial of professor – mentor and it contains enhanced knowledge that a student acquires during his Basic academic studies applied to solving concrete problems. A student prepares Final work on the bases of primary sources (journals, monographic works, proceedings, Internet sites, etc.). Upon finishing the written part, public defense is appointed before a three-member-board who evaluates the work. After finishing Master academic studies a student is competent for development and design of complex systems and their parts, for project leading and work on projects, for work in multidisciplinary teams and he/she is independent in further education and professional development.
The aim of the study programme Master in Information Technologies is education of engineers of Information Technologies by accomplishing knowledge and skills necessary for work in the field of Informatics and Computing, whereas students know the principles of Informatics as a science, they know how to apply their knowledge on solving concrete problems and do research in this field. If they passed at Basic academic studies the subjects from Psychology, Pedagogy and Methodic group and optional subjects Electronic learning and Expert systems at Master studies then it is considered that they are competent for teaching and are enabled for pedagogical work within Informatics and similar subjects. They are given a title Master in Information Technologies - in Education. Their acquired education enables their permanent professional improvement.
Master in Information Technologies - in Education possesses legally valid professional title Master engineer in all engineering disciplines that enables him/her to perform the job in relevant engineering fields.
They are professionaly oriented to the following jobs: installing and maintaining of ICT, programming in procedural, logical, structured and object oriented surroundings, using IT in business systems and electronic business, data base work, operative systems work, design and implementation of multimedia and web contents. Competence for school work on the subjects from technical and information fields is accomplished as well.
