Description:
Gaining of knowledge in order to qualify for independent research in the gradual establishment of the level of understanding problems of artistic expression, in particular design problems. Students should adopt the concepts of visual language, studying, theoretical analysis of the work of art, art ideas and forms of artistic expression. Developing and adoption of criteria for an objective evaluation, recognition of objective values and openness to change. This subject includes: specific observation, development of visual thinking through creative and practical work. Items analysis are: space, line, texture, structure work of art, light, color...
Students are trained for the use of different research methods to establish opportunities for:
a) Mastering visual language through systematic understanding and mastering the basic elements of artistic expression: lines, color, composition, rhythm, size, proportion...
b) Development of the ability of integration of these elements in other areas of art, especially textiles and clothing,
c) Establishing evaluation criteria in all areas of visual art.
