The goal of this subject is to educate students on importance of proper usage of adequate machines for sewing clothes. The highlight is also on the importance of quality control between the phases of sewing process.
Students will learn about the correct material sewing processes for creating clothes according to production demands. Students also gain knowledge on all the technological characteristics and types of machines used in technological sewing processes.
In lectures, students can find all about the history of sewing techniques and technology. This includes the stich norms, classification and types as well as types of thread and sewing needles. Students have the opportunity to learn about sewing machines and their engine types, and about forming and creating of special stitches. Lectures also describe sewing automates and aggregates, numerical guided sewing machines, sewing robots, and intelligent sewing machines.
Through practical exercises and colloquiums, students examine and study actual examples from sewing technological processes.
