Description
The course facilitates acquisition of basic knowledge of life cycle of business software solutions and application of software solutions in the areas of finance and management. The gained knowledge will enable students to understand the life cycle of business software solutions, consider various options when choosing the right software solutions for the considered problem, and the use of selected software solutions in the observed context.
The course includes the following themes: software systems as an integral part of modern business systems, the life cycle of business software systems, models of the software life cycle, stages in the life cycle, review and classification of software solutions in business systems, review of ERP systems, software solutions for decision making, examples of software solutions in the areas of finance and management.
Practical classes include solving specific tasks and case studies from the subject areas covered in the course.
