Data networks. OSI interconnection model and layer functions. Architecture and topologies of computer networks. TCP/IP protocols, technics and routing protocols. Local Area Networks LAN: Ethernet, Token ring, Token bus. WLAN: IEEE 802.11. Virtual local VLAN and private VPN networks. MPLS. Mobile Internet protokol MIP. Cloud computing basics. Systems for protection of virtual networks.
Laboratory exercises
Solving practical problems and tasks with usage of sotware for simulation of computer networks.
