Description
The subject deals with the exploration of theoretical foundations of cryptography, cryptographic methods, techniques, and algorithms. A particular practical task is the application of cryptography on the Internet. The following topics are covered: The Concept of Cryptography, The purpose of Cryptography, History, Achievements and Future of Cryptography, Elements of Number Theory, Cryptographic Procedures, Symmetric and Asymmetric Cryptography, Modern Cryptography - a hybrid approach, Public and Secret Keys in Cryptography, Analysis of the DES Algorithm, Analysis of the RSA Algorithm, Application of Cryptography.
