Description
The subject deals with the introduction to the basic concepts of intelligent agents, as well as their purpose and capabilities. Students are training for the use of agent-based methods and techniques in real and simulated environments. The following topics are covered: Concept and History of the Development of Intelligent Agents, Characteristics of Intelligent Agents, Learning, Autonomous Action, Adaptation and Communication, The Structure and Description of Intelligent Agents, Languages for Communication between Intelligent Agents, Centralized and Specialized Agents, Distributed Agent Systems, The Role of Agents, Mobile Agents, Agents in Practice, Agents on the Internet, Examples of Specific Agents. Through their practical work, students need to apply knowledge to solve specific problems.
